I had the exciting task to lead a presentation design and branding project for SXSW, a well-known organization that has been promoting the convergence of music, film, and technology since 1987.
Their goal was to build upon their famous SXSW Pitch competition to support a selective group of startups to take part in a one-of-a-kind incubator and additional expansion opportunities. As part of this effort, I was tasked with leading the creative for the pitch deck that SXSW used to raise money for their investment activities.
My primary objective was to create a compelling and visually appealing pitch deck that effectively communicates SXSW’s mission and showcases the potential of the startups they are supporting. I worked closely with SXSW’s Managing Director as well as their parent company, PMC’s Head of Creative, to understand their target audience, messaging, and branding guidelines to develop a deck that aligns with their goals and objectives.
